Is that not always the case? I did the research before i got him and i figured a 90G is quite suffice for now. I have a 155g sitting with my name on it when i o really need it. As posted above^ The problem is i figured i could get away with not cleaning it out ever week but i guess I was wrong so now I gotta figure out a way to bring him back to LIFE and keep him alive without doing water changed weekly. It's impossible to rely on anyone. Ive figured that out the hard way now.

You could pay some one to come over to do tank maintenance (at least they will have an idea about what they are doing)

If you have a 155g ready to use, that would be the best way to not have to do weekly water changes. See the 2nd part of my sig.

Well I couldn't get Dr Tims or Bio Spira. So I was not sure what to get. But he suggested API Liquid Fungus Cure instead of Melafix. So i got it and turned my tank green. I guess we will see how it works.

Anything other than Melafix will cause more issues with ammonia & nitrite. Melafix is an all-natural teatree oil product which is very mild & won't harm your biological system. Perfect for cloudy eye.

Yea but he said it sounds as if he scraped his eye on something. Does not sound like high ammonia because I changed the water right when i got home and roomie did it not even a week before. I don't think it was ammonia and neither does he. I just changed out the water yesterday as well. From brackish to fresh. So there are no problems now and there is a pleco in there and a feeder. Everyone seems alright. His eye is becoming less and less foggy and the more solid white spots are literally like falling off.. like a layer of dead skin peeling off? O well we'll see how it goes.

Was he in 1.00012 or 1.012? If the latter, than any benefitial bacteria you had filtering the tank is all lost by removing the substrate (which had good bacteria in it) changing it over to FW all at once, which means the tank isn't cycled. The fact that you did a 100% WC is why you don't have any ammonia RIGHT NOW. Adding an anti-bacterial not only kills off the bacteria causing the cloudy eye but it also kills off any benefitial bacteria in the tank that might be left, preventing the tank from cycling. Melafix is perfect for a scrape & won't harm the biological filtration.

I'm glad his cyce is looking better. I forgot to address the other issues I read in your last post. You have a fish in an uncycled tank & you added another heavy, waste-producing fish, like a pleco? And what's with the feeder?

Eh, well the feeder was in there just to let me know how he is doing. About 3 hours ago (15 hours after adding Liquid Fungus Cure) he chased the feeder down and ate em! So his appetite is back, he's swimming around like nothing happened and his color is back to normal. His eye is just a bit cloudy now and I'm sure within the next following few days he will be 100% =) The pleco I will be moving out soon. He's already eyeing him down every time he moves. I'm sure he'll start taking chunks out of him.
I can't believe how affective that Liquid Fungus Cure is...
On another note how do you add an avatar. I've used Adobe photoshop CS3 to TRY to make a picture of mine below 6kb and 120x120p but it is impossible. Even if i convert it to black and white! How do you make 6kb, 120x120p thumnails? Tried CS3,Paint, and photobucket!?!

Well I have to add another dose of Liquid Fungus Cure tomorrow @ 6 and then directions say to replace carbon and do a 30% water change 24 hours after that. Sooo.....
