I just saw on the supplier list for this area a Stars and Stripes labeled as a "Spotted Dogface". I suppose the assumption is world renowned.

I have the same puffer.
Mine is a sweetie! He don't try to bite me or the other fish and he is quite entertaining! Your going to love him/her!

they do that in the Uk, and they do not appreciate me pointing out the difference, even though the eventual size of the fish is SO different. The never changed their label, even when i showed them pics in a book...!
I do not shop there anymore...
