You think so? I have really turned the tank upside down looking so he must be in a coma somewhere coz I didn't find him dead anywhere.........I even checked in the lid and on the floor round the tank

I am in UK, the moss ball was £2.99 I have one in the DP tank too, the oto doesn't bother with it, and in the F8 tank the BBG's like to sleep on it lol

Hopefully he'll re-surface :( I just can't believe he slept through my rummaging around!! I dunno why I checked the floor and everywhere, I know he was in there after the last time I took the lid off, I just don't get it

My Cherry shrimp in the DP tank tidy the moss ball up but they don't eat it lol

They are gorgeous. Dont fret too much, Pandora, he will show up. Puffers can be masters of hiding when they want to.

:rip: Disaster has struck :(

Somehow Ted managed to jump through the hole on the back of the tank lid that the cable/air tube go through, i found him under the cabinet at lunch time, I feel awful. I have taped up the hole until my husband sorts something out tonight so Bill doesn't go the same way

I am sorry for your loss. Thank God my F8's havent tried to go komakazi.

I am pretty sure water parameters play a role in a fish's decision to jump out of the water.

I am relatively new to keeping Brackish water fish myself, but from my Freshwater experience in the past I have noticed that poor water quality can lead a fish to jump out of the tank.

puffers jump alot of fish jump i doubt it was water i mean if someones water is so bad there fish jumped out of the tank then they shouldnt have fish im sure her waters fine because her other puffers fine minus some ich that im sure was the stores fault

Thanks everybody, yeah the water is fine apart from being a bit warm coz of getting rid of the ich.....maybe he was too warm :(
My husband made a perspex cover last night to go under the lid so it will never happen again, i feel so awful :(
On a lighter note......Bill is going round like a little rocket and the ich seems to be on the way out, I may get him a friend (Ted2!) at the weekend :)
