Yeah when I was setting up the tank I thought about how big of a pain in the butt it will be to clean it out. Its not the first tank I have done a large rock formation in. But I decided that since I would be doing big water changes once a week I would just use a smaller diameter hose and stuff it into the caves when doing water changes to get out any decaying organic matter. I made sure all the caves are easily accessible for that purpose.
