What equip do you need for a BW/SW Tank?

I was thinking of the filter until the GSP is large enough for SW.

That filter is fine then. I prefer Aquaclear filters though.

I agree - after researching the different protein skimmers - I really like this one:

AquaC Remora Pro Hang-On Protein Skimmer w/ Drain Fitting + Mag-Drive 3 Pump

Have you used it - it seems to have great reviews (the drawback being that it is noisy - how noisy and can that be moded?)

Am I wrong or does it look like I can use this skimmer for BW and SW - so I would not need a filter.

Yeah - I feel it - the light is there - GSP almost has a new home!

Skimmers are basicly useless at SG <1.018. I have heard good things abiut the Remora. I use Backpacs on my smaller tanks.
