It is also in their build to be shaped like they are....plump! They are so cute. They have little fish bellies! My neons get little bellies after feeding

Thank you all for the feedback. I'll keep an eye on Pud and see how he is and do what is needed. If things change I'll be sure to post. Thanks again

It's been a couple days and I've seen him poop a couple times now! The epsom salt seems to have done the trick. Do I leave him in it now until I do a water change or should I change the water right away? My next water change is at the end of the week but I can do it right away if the salt should be removed and new water and aquarium salt put in. He is still a little chunky but his anus is back to normal, I guess he's just my chubby little Pud. Thanks for all the help! I'm sure he's thankful too!

I would go ahead and do a water change. Not because it's an emergency.

I would do it just because now that he has passed alot of poop he would enjoy clean water.

Glad to hear he's feeling better.

No aquarium salt for F8, marine mix.

Yes, you need marine salt for a BW F8 puffer. good catch Nick!
There's a new F8 article in our Library now.

Ok, thanks for that tip! I'll have to check at home, what I have might be marine but I'm not too sure. I've also tried feeding Pud frozen bloodworms but he ignored them. And swam down to pick at the empty snail shells. I've got gravel on the bottom of his tank and I'm thinking about switching it over to crushed coral, is this a good idea?
