You could try adding more air, mine loves playing in the bubbles.
Mine is a bit bigger but regularly goes a few days without food.

Thanks for all the efforts everybody. Unfortunately I lost him sometime early this morning. I appreciate everything you all tried to do.
Water conditions this morning are:
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate came down to 10ppm
pH 7.4
I'll keep up the water changes until the nitrate comes down a bit more for the other fish. Again, thanks everyone, all the help really means alot.

Thanks for the kinda words. I would consider it. It would be really nice to know what happened, and I would really like to be able to hopefully help prevent others from having the same problems. Any advice on getting that done? I will try and look into it.

You're going to need a VERY sharpe blade. Look in his stomach & in his throat for obstructions. Check out the color of his liver. I had a puffer die after only 6 weeks & when I opened it up, his liver was hard as a rock & yellowish, instead of bright pink & spongy.
