Thanks, we don't have a lot of melafix here in hong kong, do you know the active ingredients? We have this other medecine products but i'm not sure which one to go with.

Active ingredient is Teatree oil but I wouldn't just go pouring that into yur tank.

A similar thing happened this morning except my green spotted puffer landed on the glass that sits right in the middle of my tank. That part of my tank is what holds 1 side of each of my 2 lights. I don't know how long it had been there, directly under the high output lights, but its skin looked dry & leathery & it's eyes looked black & sunken in (possibly fried). I freaked out & put it in a bowl of the tank water. It started moving slowly, 1 fin at a time. I have an airstone in the bowl but its blind. I was concerned about keeping it in a container away from the tank due to changing water conditions so i poked a bunch of holes in a Tupperware bowl so that it looks like a strainer (smoothing out any ragged holes as best as I could to prevent more wounds), put a thin piece of filter media on the bottom (so it doesn't cut itself when it rests on bottom, & i put the airstone bubbler through the center of the lid as well. It works nicely as a floating quarantine area so it can rest. Are the eyes treatable?

I think they might just need to rehydrate. Why not put him in his tank? I think being in a box might be stressful. Treat the tank with Melafix too.
