the flat is 1940's ...
how do you work out which way the joists go? How do you know what a supporting wall is... i know the outside ones are, i know which ones are studd walls... but the wall it will be going against has the stairs from the front door to the hallway on the other side..
its the wall with the living room on one side, and the stairwell down to the front door on the other.. if that makes sense...
would that be a stud or a weight baring wall...?
