I was sure they'd die, but honestly I plunked one(NO acclimation) and he survived a couple days(well past acclimation) until I had to pull him out of the rocks so the puffers could eat. So I did a test, and changed the holding tank to SW(which also killed it's cycle of course) despite the ammonia and the "plunk", not a single cray died. I think they're pretty adaptable, but my puffers get hungry, so after a 2 week or so quarantine...

Yes, a nice fat one, over 3", 4" with his tail(which is very short compared to the rest of him actually)

Yea, I put it there for a few mushrooms which are now dead, but I love how clear and bright the water looks under it, so it stays

Crustaceans do amazingly well in all water differences. not sure why, something to do with respiratory I assume.
