You know, I was reading my own post, and then it dawned on me that there ARE red fw fish! My imaginary fire eel! Yay!

But yeah, I want one, but I'm saving money for my next project.....

But yeah, sw tanks are all kinds of fun. I had no idea GSP's could do ok in full sw that small. Hmm, I wonder how they get along with tobies...

Yet again, Walmart is mentioned. I can't believe they're still allowed to sell fish, given their practices.

Very interesting read as I had previously been told that GSPs didn't reach full marine until they were about 4", but as all yours seem to be doing very will I think I'll try raising Bonzos density as he is now just a shade over 2"

Just finished raising my Ceylons tank to full Marine....adding some live rock...and reading this thread gives me hope that I may be able to introduce a couple of Marine tankmates soon

His tank mates are 1 Foxface, 1 Singapore Angel, 1 Coral Beauty, 2 Fire Fish Gobys, 1 Decorated Goby, 2 Skunk Cleaner Shrimp, 1 Coral Banned Shrimp, Couple of stars and random inverts.

So is this thread saying it might be possible to introduce Marine Tankmates to smaller GSPs? i am in process of getting a large enough tank and moving my gsp towards full marine. and this thread makes it seam promising that i might be able to get a few tank mates? i kow the gsps are aggresive and nip fins but wat would happen with quicker marine fish?

this is awesome if its true becus i have always wanted a marine tank but wanted my puffers more and if i can have them both then awesome.

what about things like brittle stars and stuff. has anybody tried puffers with starts? i would assume they could turn into a quick snack.

and my big question id clown fish...i got a girlfriend and the whole nemo effect lol

While it's still a good idea to wait until they're closer to adulthood at 4'', I've also broken that rule and kept juveniles in full marine conditions and they have thrived. The GSP's just take so darn long to grow out! I couldn't wait.
