In fact when I went to put him back into the tank once it had been moved he wanted to stay in the bucket and kept swimming backwards into it!!
Sounds like he'd love to have a cave or 2.

Funny you should mention a cave as that is what I had in mind as a feature for the tank. Going to pick up some cheap aquarium slate and silicone it together to make a nice big cave for him to rest / hide in. Will attach some moss and a few anubias too, job's a good 'un!
Having moved him once I'm a lot more confident about having to do it again. Can't wait to get it all finished!!

You shouldn't have to cycle your new tank - just use the filter media from the old tank, and add Prime or Amquel just in case.
Keep your mbu in a 5 gallon bucket with an airstone during the move (perhaps insulated with towels). He'll be fine.

Sorry folks, still not got round to those promised photos! Must remember!!
Last night Mooboo puffed for the first time (that we know of)! It was really quite amazing to watch if not a little scary! It seem to be just an 'equipment check' and couldn't have lasted more than 10 seconds. I wonder if they do this in relation to growth as since going into the new tank (1 month ago) he's grown over an inch....
Sadly butterfingers here didn't operate the camera quick enough so didn't get a shot!! Oh well!
