Shame she went but she put up a good fight, the LFS wont see any problems if they have a load in a tank with the aggression dissipated through them and that I still think is the key to successfully keeping them.
You have gained valuable experience though Ben, it's not much of a consolation prize against losing the fish but it will help you in your puffer keeping future.
