no problem, I don't have a marine tank yet either, but I figure if I just keep learning stuff I'll be plenty prepared to start one sooner or later.

that's why I've been reading in here, we'll both have to have one at some point in the not too distant future, especially if Bonzo keeps growing the way he is

saltwater ich cannot tolerate salt levels of 1.009...
so you have to slowly lower your salinity until you reach that level to rid your fish of the parasite...
you must be careful to buffer the RO as you lower the salinity, as without the salt, and with Ro being so unstable, the PH drops dramatically.
keep the fish in hypo for 4-6 weeks and then slowly raise it again....
