I'm not sure if it bothers anyone on here, but I don't usually feed my pets bait worms, because they are usually raised underneath rabbit hutches. needless to say they are often times loaded with harmful bacteria, and sometimes parasites...lferg wrote: I think I will go get some worms from my local bait store today.

Ew really I never knew that!!
Most bacteria that is harmful to us will die off in the water anyway and the fish will be fine, but it's best not to use it anyway.

Good thing! Just use frozen bloodworms or live blackworms from your LFS.

or you could get those worms from your LFS too, they do a better job of getting healthy/clean foods. that's why they cost a tad more there though...
