Ok I went back to the LFS to see if this puffer was still available and to take more pics. Unfortunately, he looked worse and more lethargic than before, but I heard it was from the strong medication, daily water changes, and the fasting its had to endure. Here are some more photos:

Thanks for the use of my word there the other option of course is fahakulatus, both sound pretty cool to me.

Back to the fish in question even if it is a Fahaka its a lovley looking one and worth buying if you have the tank for it

I'm not sure whether I'm going to get this guy mainly because he's already so big. I'll check back every now and then at the LFS and see if he grows on me.
