i am a she..... I'm hannah in real life!
i just wondered how you knew!?
Crazedpuffer... what have you got in your 90G? Have you got inverts etc... any other puffs in there...?
I'll put ickle puff in the main tank in the next few weeks so will let you know how it gets on with my lion and a hitchhiker hermit crab (!) then you'll get a better idea of how it would work in your tank..
chin has one too.. a bit bigger than mine i think, photos under 'latest lovechop' in puffer pics....

RIght now my 90 is just my emperor, 2 damsels, and a black percula clown. I have to quarantine that whole tank, since all my puffers that I put in there after my first puffer died, died within a week all from the same disease, so I'm pretty sure they all have the disease but aren't affected, either way not worth risking Shelby or any other puffer again.
Also thats not the tank they'll be going in, I have a much bigger tank waiting to get setup.

What disease does everyone have? That stinks, I wondered why Shelby has been in QT for so long.
What size is the bigger tank? How are you only 15 and have giant tanks! I want more tanks
How is the emperor? Is she starting to show more of the adult colors yet? It must be awesome to see develop.

Re: stars and stripes puffed!
The puffers died from vibrio, but no other fish show symptoms, so I feel it's pretty safe to assume it only affects scaless fish.
Haha it's 180 for only $500! I get them used and my parents like them too so that helpa, it's normally a birthday present or something along those lines, lol.
She's good shes finally starting to change colors, I can't wait for her to be finished.

Re: stars and stripes puffed!
ooo 180 nice! I'm constantly on craigslist looking at used tanks but I'm not allowed to get any more until we move into a bigger place.

Re: stars and stripes puffed!
I wish I still lived with my dad. I bet I could talk him into a giant tank. I know he is jealous of the tanks I have now but he is never home so he can't maintain one for himself. oh well!

Re: stars and stripes puffed!
shelby will get really big, so will the stars and strips...
that's one HUGE tank you'll need if you end up with both...
Haven't named ickle puff yet, he's just called puff... which is stupid as my ceylons called puff too....
get paranoid about naming them, only jsut named my lion 'Rocker' and i've had him for 4 or 5 months... he just flared at me, and when his spines all stood up they looked like a mohawk... hence the name.
If ickle puff is still around in a few months time (fingers crossed) then i'm sure he'll/she'll develop a name.

Re: stars and stripes puffed!
I have a 180 sitting in my garage waiting to be set up. I might get S&S or otherwise a dogface for it with Shelby and a few other fish, can't decide yet.
