You keep 14(!) brackish pufferfish together in a freshwater tank of unspecified size?!!

I can nothing but conclude that your fishkeeping is both poor and cruel.
Please refrain from offering advice in matters you obviously know close to nothing about.

He doesn't. His mini profile by his avatar says its a 90G with lots of other fish in as well as the puffs....

oh well, hopefully this forum can help him understand what he's doing wrong and he's correct his methods.

I dunno, most people think any fish that lives over a year is doing "great" and don't care much about loosing a fish every few months when it can be cheaply replaced to keep the tank looking "full."
