I don't know, I'm not sure you can go on colour so much. Abei I think can be quite gray/brown in some instances, but i always thought Turgidus and Cochinchinensis were almost identical, bar the red dot with the green/blue ring round the outside. If that's not present, then I'd agree, turgidus.

Either way, an unblurred side on view is always going to be much easier to ID a target puffer with.

These 2 are always difficult when they're of a comparable size to what the Fangs gets to. I always thought the Fangs was a more dirty brown colour than the greener colour of a Turgidus. Did you see the Turgidus they had in at Wharf, when I had a good look at em some didnt display a target spot at all but one had a really big black target mark but they were all this greeny colour. Perhaps the only way to truly tell is to wait and see how big it gets.

Another thought, ones considered to be Turgidus that get to the same size as Cochinchinensis and no bigger, just a colour variant perhaps.

These 2 always do my head in.
