The puffer does have a good sized beak but there are "openings" on the side.....this beak is similar to the mappa and stellatus - very prominent but usually no problems with eating. You will see these in the wild as well. Could trim the tips but this is not the immediate issue.

Qnce you get the puffer eating again (looks like it could skip a few meals w/o any problems) get it off krill & put it on a better diet of clam, oyster, crab legs, squid, etc. Soak all foods in a good fish vitamin. Also, Kelly mentioned getting meds from a vet. She meant a regular dog/cat vet, not just a fish vet. Remove the meds from your tank with a bag of carbon in a filter.
