had one of my silly SAPs jump the tank again ... ended up in with the Koi and Comet. Poor little guy really took a beating in there.

On a better note: I fixed my surface skimmer, CO2 diffuser and 2 power heads. Now we got some real movement in the tank

I havnt been on here in a while since it was crazy for a while trying to pull up a thread. I really havnt done much today been really busy with school just getting finished with midterms. I did find something cool the other day in my tank. A couple bright red ball nems. Not sure how they got there but thats the joy of a sw tank; you never know what your going to find.

My betta died I fed him his usual pellets this morning, then a few minutes later I was looking at the tank and he was still and dead. He was perfectly upright, in the position like he had just swallowed a pellet. I don't know if he choked or ?? He was one of my fave bettas ever, and wasn't even 2

That's sad...

had my lasik friday, that went well and im seeing really well. Vision went from 20/400 to 20/40 in 10mins. Last night I went out with friends till 3am and Im payin for it now. My eyes are crazy sensitive right now. Hurts to just look at tthe comp screen. So Im not going to be around much for the next few days

So you went with Lasik? Congrats, I'm jealous! How does it feel to wake up & see?

Damn what a sh***y day
I started a little 15g sw tank just for fun a few weeks ago. Scavenged the LR and sand from the other tanks. Waited, tested, and all was fine, so I added some hermit crabs and a brittle star. All was still well so I added a tiny little yellow coral goby. I love them but didn't want one in my reef tank so I thought it would be nice and easy. He was tiny and a little thin but had a great appetite so I figured he'd fill out. He's been doing GREAT for a week or so, eating like a pig and getting friendly. This evening I went to feed him and he didn't come to the front so I looked around and he was behind the rock on the sand, pale and breathing heavily. He died shortly after No idea what got him. 0 ammo, 0 nitrite, and 0 nitrates.
I really think it's just crappy luck, not a water problem or anything, but it really sucks

Well PRK, couldnt do Lasik due to the thickness of my cornea's. So far I love it, and it will be even better in a few weeks when my sight isnt so blurry

Nope, just hang out in them, so it makes the polyps retract. They might also spawn in them. Mind lay eggs under the plating Monticaps. What SPS do you have?

I have some orange and purple monti caps and a digi, some acro, and a birds nest. I'm not worried about the montis but the acro is just starting to show some really nice colors and I'm quite attached to the bird's nest...they were super-cheap damaged frags from a closing tank at the lfs and are thriving but still small...
