My saltwater puffer is currently named Chuckie.. like in chuckie from the rugrats.. (on the account that he has big teeth) not chucky the psycho doll... anyway that is what I call him.. but my roommate has different ideas.. help me name my puffer. He is 10-12 inches long.. he is fat, can wink.. has beautiful coloring and lovely white spots. My daughter who is warped thinks I should name him..
Mr. Spotsworth Faget Horse...
Which is not going to happen.

I like Squirt! Cause he squirts water... but that is a lame name..

My cichlids have cool names...
Red Devil - Peaches (a nice gentle name for an vicious fish by nature! So far it is working cause she has not killed her tank mates yet!)
Red Blood Parrot - Lucky (After Lucile Ball)
Convict - Uncle Jim (on account the real uncle Jim spent some time in jail!)

We could call him chuckles .. cause he has a smile on his face.

I could call him cuddle fish, (not to be confused with the cuttlefish) cause I named my cat - baby cakes - and my Cockatiel -buttercup

If you have any suggestions ...

I bought my first puffer a few weeks ago. So I hereby join the puffer club :-)

Mine is a GSP and it's name is Bolla (my dictionary translates this to the bun).

First time puffer owner, so this is going to be interesting...

Sassie....my boxer is named Teal'c :D I don't watch SG1...hubby does, but since it is on so much I manage to catch quite a bit of the story line....Teal'c is a character who looks like a big gentle giant, but can take care of business when needed. Laid back attitude, intimidating size! Our Teal'c has lived up to his name....as gentle as they come, solid as a rock, and everyone thinks he is vicious because he looks intimidating, when actually he is a big baby!

As for fish names....here is Missy, (shortened from Miss Puffer), Lucy, and Gizmo (a tribute to my mother in laws dog she lost....she loves my puffs)
