wow that took a while to look at all 9 pages but theres some purdy tatts on here!

got this one for my "grammy" its my own art. we love hummingbirds, and she had the biggest most beautiful calla lily plant ive ever seen... childhood memory, every time id see her, we would go in the garden, pick lillies and count humming birds its on my ribcage... i actually fell asleep during this tatt lol. it went till 2 in the morning and i woke up from my artist going "HOLY SH**!!! come check out this bar fight!" there was a bar fight that broke out next door and it trailed out into the street with probably 75 people involved haha.... cops showed up, tazers in hand... oh goodness, what an unforgetable night hahahaha


this is also my own art, my original was WAY better though i still like it... it was my highschool graduation present to myself, never thought id make it to that day (yes there is reasons, not just teenage anxt... SP?)... so when i did, i got the cover to my poetry book i made in highschool put on my shoulder... i got the poetry book cover because i had written down everything that had been going on in my life leading up to that point... very significant... now i think of the lilly as kind of my life now, not perfect, but still beautiful... hard to explain its meaning to me... its on my shoulder


this one, i didnt do... its actually a coverup... a very good one at that... i let my boyfriend use his home made tattoo gun on me cause ive always wanted a home made tatt... it worked like a charm every other time, but it tore up my skin, didnt work right... it was a mess, so i was left with this big black "L" shaped scar... the guy did a beautiful job at covering it up... and i love the sailor jerry style of the rose... its on the inside of my knee... like on the back

Ribs and back of knee? I couldn't imagine getting the back of my knee tattooed. Yikes. They look great though, I love the meanings behind them.

my artist said i was quote, "a beast" for falling asleep while getting my ribs done... that one hurt the least to me... the vibes of the gun on my ribs... was what put me to sleep i think... i dunnno lol.. but the back of the knee is the one tha got me... not so much when the PROFESSIONAL did it as much as when my boyfriends gun wasnt running right... you could literally see my skin ripping apart it was bad... and talk about wicked infection lol... i work in construction, so you have to bend and squat with your knees a lot... and OMG! i wanted to cry lol... and the shoulder wasnt too fun either because the guy had a very heavy hand it reminded me of a child scribbling on a piece of paper with a crayon lol...

i like the meanings too... and eventhough they arent the best, the meanings make me like them that much more. and they arent so bad that i couldnt get them touched up.... TAX REFUND!!! woo hoo... maybe this will be the year i get them... gettin like 5000 bucks back this year.... gonna get the tatts restored and maybe pimp out my tanks a bit, possibly order an awesome puff online

oh, and the original tattoo under the rose cover up was supposed to be the carebear buddy star... you know the star from care bears with the happy face, they kinda float around the show from time to time... the tatt itself was silly... but i wanted it because my name is karen, and my entire family refers to me as carebear, its been my nick name since i was a baby... now at 22, im still called care bear... and i loved the show whne i was little... but it was more the family reasons

Holy....! I wish I got 5k$ back! I'd fix up my car, get a new tatt, start a big salt tank, take the kids to Disney..... So many choices!

aaahhh the joys of being young, unmarried, childless, and renting an apartment (or whatever makes income tax checks so small... whatever it is.. thats not me lol)... though i would like a baby... one day... when im not only 22 yrs old... i still got a lot of stuff to see, places to go, huge tax refunds to collect

man that kinda made me sound like a loser lol... in my defense, ive been with my guy for 3 years... so its not a total waste im still young

oh, im thinkin of gettin a dandilion tatt also... going from the lower left part of my back, just above the belt line, and the pieces of dandilion will be blowing away to the middle of my back... im a hippie... got a thing for flowers and animals... but i like the feminity of having flowers

I'll be having one July 4th...I can hardly breathe they are tons of work but worth it. Our 5 year old just loves her "pupper fish" lol

aaahhh... busybones! dont do that... im so jealous... all i want is to be a mom... and it makes me sad to know its better to wait but congrats on your new one! LUCKY!

I went with having mine every two years and then quit at 3 at age 29. Get that part done kinda thing. I kind of miss parts of being pregnant.

i want a baby... always have wanted one... just one, no desire to have like 12 little trolls wiping their snotty noses all over my freshly washed shirt i can handle a snotty nose, puke on your face/in your mouth, cries at 2am, or poopy diapers from one kid... but thats all i desire, just one... makes me sad i hate being smart! lol, i know its better to wait a few years, but i dont want to

OH hey!!! busybones, after you have your baby you should get you should get their feet tattooed on your belly or hand print somewhere, and of course one for your other kid too... i think it would be an awesome contrast to all your hard core motor head tattoos... which btw, is awesome... i think its cool when women can break the norm and still keep their feminity... you know, can hang with the boys but not look all butchy lol... thats how i am too im a girly construction worker lol... more power to the girls who dont completely follow the rules of being a lady! PS- im somewhat of a motorhead too... not hotrods like ur tat or anything... i like muscle cars... i have a 66 mustang and a 75 nova ss... built the mustang from the ground up with my daddy the nova doesnt really have any sentimental value... its just fast

Yeah, how about having a grandma like me??? It's my husband's daughter from his 1st marraige.

oooh now it makes sense..... COOLEST GRAMMA EVER! lol. my grandpa had an elmer fudd tattoo that he got while drunk in the military and i thought he was the sh** lol cant immagine my grandma having virtually her whole body done lol
