Peppermint Shrimps love to hide, whether or not they eat aiptasia I think has something to do with which part of the world they come from iirc.

Cheers guys, will add some of these suggestions onto my shortlist of inhabitants and see what I can find locally.

Water test as of today. Ammo 0, nitrite 0 nitrate between 10-20 ppm. So I have fish
. Got 3 humbugs, 1 royal gamma, 1 small hawk fish one of the ones that stays smallish so predation should be no problem. 1 blue legged hermit and one red legged hermit. More fish shopping tomorrow, also got a peppermint shrimp

Seen some brittle stars, one had only 2 legs, many unidentified worm type thingys lol. By far the coolest tank I have set up. More aiptasia is appearing so I guess more peppermint shrimp are needed, they cost £15 a piece here but if they will help rid this pest worth it. Will grab some more tomorrow and give it a few days if not i will intervene somehow
