And now she knows I am trying to catch her and she's really sneaky about grabbing bloodworms and darting away. I'm going to have to research how to build a fish trap. I have to get all of the fish out of my 75 gallon and run it fish-fallow for a few months since one of my fish recovered from a disease and it returned several months later

If you can just take out the decor and some water, that would be great. I don't have that option since it's super heavily planted.

=( I am really sorry to hear that. I hope your fish do ok. What did you plan on doing with the fish while it ran fish fallow? I was just curious...

As I type this, PZ is acclimating to the 10 gallon, and I have the 20 gallon half empty and the decorations finally all put back in and set up again. I just have to treat my water and fill it up again. But I did have to take EVERYTHING out and put it all back in. She kept hiding in the decorations = / Oh well. I have it all cleaned up and gravel vacc'd now for Luau.

They're all going into hospital tanks to get treated. The 6 smaller fish will be in a 35 gallon, the one larger fish will be in a 29 by himself. I will probably rehome most of them after that time since the tank was really set up for the one larger fish. Only that one fish is showing signs of being sick, I have a thread on it though, I need to update it.

LoL it wasn't too bad. I just worried about her stressing out overly much. Is daphnia and brine shrimp ok to feed to PZ? I got some brine shrimp, tubifex worms and daphnia today, to help give her more of a varied diet. So far, she's not too sure about them haha

If the food is dried, I'd say no. If it's frozen, I would add Freshwater Vitachem to it. Frozen food suffers vitamin loss when frozen.

Not dried, but I have been adding vitachem. Little @#%* is still not eating. LoL, but she fights the ghost shrimp for it when they snatch it from her! I was watching this morning, and she was kinda picking on a worm, and she wasn't really into it, until the larger of the two ghost shrimp snatched it from her; then she chased him around the tank trying to grab it back as he was stuffing his face. It was hilarious, I wish I had had a video camera.

Sounds like she's adjusting normally, for a the weird animals puffers can be lol.

Definitely doing better. She is starting to flare her tail a bit more, but not by much. I notice that she does it a lot when moving up or down. I am hoping that now she is in her forever home, after she settles in again, that eventually she will start flaring it again. Other than that, I don't know what to do but treat her for IPs one more time as a just in case type thing, but I am really hoping it's just because of the tank changes she has been thru in the past month or so. We will see. =)

MY fahaka got really mood after my last move. Didnt eat for a few days.

He really got pissed when I accidentally poured rotten milk in his tank LOL.....grabbed the wrong milk jug, refused to eat for weeks lol

Awww poor Bloat LoL. Yeah, PZ's pissed. I thought I was doing a good thing by trying to trick her....so I would feed her, try to net her, then ideally, put the container in the aquarium while she was hanging out in the net in the water, and put her in the container, into a bag, acclimate to the 10 gallon and be done. Well, I tried to net her so many times I think I did more harm than good. Now she knows when I grab the net, she hides in her cave. After I finally got her moved, every time I opened the lid to feed her, she darted away. Oh well, next time I will just take every thing out of the tank..

LoL I love seeing her "argue" with the ghost shrimp. There is a shrimp in there 2x the size she is, and he's a buggar. He takes her food right from her, and runs off with it. So far, I have seen this twice. I wonder how much longer it will be before she realizes that her food snatcher is edible.....LOL

how the heck.....never mind I don't want to know.

I was using a gallon milk jug to top off my tanks and I had one sitting on the counter that I had just finished the day before. I grabbed it on accident, it had maybe a few tsps of milk left in the bottom. Turned the tank foggy, thats when I realized what I had done. Did a massive water change and was all good, well other then really pissing off Bloat
