I want to get an emerald crab, but I'm afraid it will eat Orangjello. I wanted to put some tiny crabs in there, so that Balki would have something to follow around, I'm really not sure if he would know to eat them or not, but I don't want to risk Orangjello getting skewered in the night.

Bacon may tear the wa\rus out of a blenny... I don't know about chancing that without knowing the temperament of Bacon and not having a place to move the blenny if she attacks it.

I'd just keep Bacon in the 20 until that time, a marine tank really should have at least 6 months to establish before adding corals, and considering that blennies are either herbavores or omnivores, it might be best to wait for the tank to establish algae other than diatoms, in case they have trouble accepting dried seaweed to eat at first.

For just FOWLR, your day cycle can be 6 - 10 hours, I probably run mine too long at 9.5, but it gives a chance for my husband to see the fish in the morning and usually before lights out too.
The moonlight you don't want to run all night, they need a period of darkness I think, you can have it set on a timer to run a couple of hours after main lights out, and then back on a couple of hours before lights on, like dusk and dawn.
