when your bf had posted about him a few days ago

Oh My! I was just looking through and definitely did not expect to hear that Kaleeko had died!!! What happened to him Lisa, was there any warning signs? That's really horrible and you definitely have my condolences. I didn't even know he was ill, thought he was doing well.

Thanks everyone.. I am still quite emotional about it.. can't stop thinking about him...
We honestly have no idea what caused it. My bf woke up early that day and did his usual round of the tanks, and he found Kaleeko on his side, breathing very lightly, and not moving. He had a strange bump on his side as well.. and one of his eyes were very cloudy..he was incredibly weak.. he was fine the night before.. so we did a water change immediately, and my bf was holding him trying to get some fresh water in his gills, and he puffed up .. he puffed some air and it got caught, so we tried burping him.. which created him to puff up more under water.. not easy to hold onto!! He just coulnd't expell the air .. and he died in my bf's hands. He is in a much better place now...
