I must admit, that is one of the most beautiful puffers I have ever seen. Ooo wet spot has beautiful fish, and your little guy is no exception!!! I also think your 10 jungle is luscious and green, which keeps these super smart puffers busy! I am having some tank and fish envy right now! Congratulations!

I just upgraded to a 20 long this past weekend. Should work for a while. You can see him in the bottom right third of the tank. I still need to set up a background and tweak a few things, as well as get a light that actually fits the length of the tank.

Will probably add some more small cories (I had one solo habrosus cory rescued from a work tank, so he should finally have some buddies) and maybe more chili rasboras or white clouds.

You have a great eye for planting and aquascaping, both your tanks are beautiful!! lol I often forget that there are a few puffers who can have tank mates, the additional movement and color from the smaller fish should balance the tank nicely.

I just wanted to update this a little bit - s/he has been doing well in the 20. I added some cories and there have been zero issues. They even eat bloodworms in a little group together.

So I would say that if you want to try this fish with some others, cories are probably a good choice.
He also ignores the Scarlet Badis and the pencilfish.

Mine is 2 inches. I'm growing my Goldie and green mango plecos out in the tank, guppies breeding, and the surprising thing, 6 amano shrimp. Had the guy roughly a month, and hasn't nipped at any fish besides the mangos yellow tail. Back to the shrimp, they are all still alive and kicking. He looks at them, and basically just ignores them. It's rather funny. I know when he reaches max size, I assume I'll walk in one day and they all be gone. This tank was one of my feeder tanks for my fahaka until this guy demolished all my snails. haha But, he has been more than worth it. Personally is cute and funny.
He is completely passive to everything live besides snails.

Hey guys does anyone have any idea where i can purchase a congo spotted puffer. Been checking the common sites like aquabid with no luck. I'm new to puffers, thanks for all the great information so far.
