I know this thread is very controversial and I won't be joining in but I think that we can all learn something. I do want to hear how things turn out. And I do hope that we can help you in some way with these babies.
Thanks...
Means alot.
Ok, heres how you can help out.
Story goes...
In another room i have a 3ft tank that is running on eheim 2224.
Flow rate of the 2224 isn't that great anymore. Most probably due to its age. That's beside the point.
I have a brand new tetra Expower 120.
Question:
1. Should i use the eheim 2224 on my 12fry tank and the new tetra Expower 120 on the 3ft tank.

Noted... Thanks.
One of the reason why iam not using chrome is that the reviews says that it is slow?
how true is that?

Oh wow I got behind in this thread..lol. Do have to say, those little MBU are just awesome little guys and girls. I would remove those pvs pipes out of their tank though, just in case one decides to puff up inside one of those pipes and gets stuck, imo.
Btw, I know what you do. You are a smuggler and that's why you can't tell. With a sidekick that is 7' tall and hairy from head to toe that can't speak a lick of English...lol....jk...

Thanks.
It's more of a learning / exploring journey for me.
Cause once they reach a certain length they need to be transfer to another larger enclosure.
I am like a surrogate mother to them now. LOL
Don't wanna risk it being eaten by it's own mother.

Hey the funny thing is that i was ACTUALLY thinking of removing those small little pipes this afternoon and replacing it with a single MUCH MUCH bigger pipe!
Funny how things works in sync sometimes.
Oh and if u were to follow this thread closely, i mention some time back that these 12 fry NEVER enter those PVC pipes.
The grey ones they NEVER enter it, but however for the translucent ones the do play around with it.
And my 7' tall hairy sidekick name is.........................?
BTW i would like to share one interesting point i observe from them.
