Oh ok.
I will let everyone know the decision on the tank as soon as I know.

Keep testing your water & posting parameters. You're doing a great job keeping them alive for now.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Re: This gal needs help!!!
I woke up late and had to run to counseling this morning. Didn't have time to check the levels. But I started a log book (WCs, Feedings, and Levels)
That should help me remember things such as feedings. I am cutting back to once a day as suggested. Though I feel bad for them. They are used to being fed twice a day. They won't starve right?
I did a 50% WC last night before bed.I don't remember what the levels were exactly....
Can anyone tell me what the levels should look like to be considered good?

It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

Twice a day is to much, once a day for 6 days and 1 day no food

+1, overfeeding is killing them with kindness!

How big are they? Do you know if they're juvies or adults?

no kidding!!! Mine died before I could set up my tank because of over feeding and a missing hunk of shrimp that I couldn't find.
Point being.. don't take your eyes off them (at this point) while feeding and remove that food promptly when they are full.
if you follow me, you avoid stepping in the crap that I just did...

Re: This gal needs help!!!
They are about 1 inch maybe 1.5... 2 inches is pushing it.
I will make sure not to feed them more than once a day. I was told to feed them twice a day... :/ more misguiding.
and flutter thanks for the levels. I now know what to look for.

Don't forget 1 fasting day/week. That means no food for 1 out of 6 days.

It has been written in the log to not feed them on Sundays.

Good for you
A log is excellent, I really should start one.
