Just get more food in there to force the rest of the worm out. No need for epsom salts right now.

She needs something in there to keep the peristalsis going.

After seeing her intrest in the guppy I tried to get her to eat a piece of shrimp. She got close to it then swam away. I'll try again later. She looks like she's in hunting mode right now. Way more active than she has been in the last few days. Looks like she's starting to come around. I am so relieved!

maybe get some river shrimp now... honestly, they are great.. and cos they're clear they think no one can see them.. but they can, and puffers love them..

Feed them up with algae wafers or similar and then throw them in.. she'll be able to hunt them down easy.. and it'll get her eating. :D

or maybe a worm, like PP said..

Got up to check on Annabelle and she just passed another 5 inches of worm. Part of it had this orange ball attached. It looked like egg yolk. She still will not eat on her own, I tried about 6 times today. I took her out and got about 1ml of food in her this time. I'll let her rest all day tomorrow and then try to get her to eat again on tuesday.

That sounds like she may have passed the head. My hunting dogs had tapeworm (they like to eat deer poop, go figure, eh') and that is what the head looked like when they passed it.

After having followed your story for a few days its good to hear that Annabelle is finally starting to have a turn for the better... hopefully she'll pull the rest of the way through...

I hope you're right. That would mean this is over! For now anyway. :D Thanks for telling me that, I had no idea what to look for.

You are right. Black pooh is good pooh. I tried to get her to eat on her own, still no go. She's getting smarter with the syring feeding. She was calm in the net, she was calm when I put the bowl in the tank and scooped her out. Then I put the syringe in her mouth and she started rolling like an alligator. She managed to spit almost all of the food out. I'm not sure I got anything in her this time. I'll keep trying until she starts eating again.
