ive noticed on one of my f8 puffers that i can see his top teeth. they're not terribly long, but long enough for me to be able to see them. im feeding him snails everyday at the moment, with a treat of bloodworm maybe twice a week, and shell on prawn.
at what stage do i need to be worrying about having to trim them? or will the snail shells eventually shave them down?
puffers teeth - should i be worrying?

I wouldn't worry about it yet, I can see the tips of my puffers teeth and I have done for a year, they've never got any bigger and his diet is not massively snail heavy, maybe 3-6 decent sized snails a week.
If he's getting plenty of shelled foods, they should be OK. Start to worry, if they start become noticably more visible and he has trouble feeding or closing his mouth. Hopefully you wont get to the point where you need to trim teeth.
