A new addition
Back to the first thing, when you say I could put in an internal fluval, can once be sufficient for the 10g with the irrubesco for "over-filtration" or did you mean I need a HOB and a fluval? I was confused...it would be great if you could get back to me on that
.
1. A single internal Fluval for 10g with irrubesco for over filtration?
-or did you mean-
2. A HOB filter and an internal Fluval for 10g with irrubesco for over filtration?

Ok, to make it more simple...
Over filtration is the process of having more filtration then any tank would normally need in a community scenario. Say you have a filter made to filter made for a 10 gal (whisper for example) then you add another one specified for a 10 gallon tank or above, THAT is over filtration. Or you could add a larger filter that does not create too much current in the tank that is rated for a larger tank (EX: fluval 105 or 205 or a magnum)

Hey I'm back again for my possibly final question on this topic... Are normal pond snails best to feed puffers? I thought I read before that they breed the fastest and are best for puffer's health, but now I can't find the place where I read it... can anyone reassure me of this?

In my irrubesco tank, can a single "20-50g filter" substitute for two "5-20g" for over-filtration? I was at my LFS and all they had for fluval's was for SW tanks that fit in a tank of 75 gallons. I picked up a large "20-50g" filter and now I was wondering if that could work for over filtration...the current is not that bad but if I make my own "speed changer" which I use a small chunk of sponge on the filter's ramp (where the water exits) and attach it there so the water comes out...just slower, would that be OK.
Basically I want to know if that would work alone in my irrubesco tank and keep it clean....

Basically. What type of filter is it?

Yeah they are great filters. Sometimes I find them tooo strong in some tanks... But thats just from my hardcore filtering on a 20 long...

Just one question, the measurements on TPL for the puffers, do they include tails or are they measurements without the tail...JW.
Also, when or even if I get the irrubesco what size would I most likely get him/her at? and how big should the snails be when I feed it?
