Oh good, thx for that bit of info.

On the list of things to do today is change the tanks around to make the 100 the puffertank and the hex will house the freshwater stuff minus the gar and leporinus.

He'll be much happier in the hundy although maybe I should add some tankmates FIRST before he goes in to keep the territory aggression to a minimum. :)

I really don't htink you'll be upset with him alone in the big 100-gallon until the move bigger. Puffers are amazingly interactive!

Yup, he's going in there by himself for now. I'm going to add a handful of new hermit crab shells then about two weeks later I'm going to add ten hermit crabs. See if I can't fool him a bit. Two hermit crabs have lasted almost a week in there now. Saw one today and I was a bit surprised. He seems to know how to stay alive.

I figure they will help with a bit of cleaning.

I work at my lfs, and have on more than one occasion ordered a dog face only to receive a stars and stripes. I wonder why such the confusion? Granted they share the same genus, but they look nothing alike!
