Hi, we have been out of the hobby for many, many years and no as seniors decided to give it a go once again. We have one 5.5 gallon holding tank, two nine-gallon planted dirt and sand substrate natural fish bowls that are 2 1/2 years old. One has pygmy 6 Corys with cherry shrimp and of course pest snails, the other has only snails and cherry shrimp. Also have a 36-gallon bow front that is full of the excess shrimp (did not expect them to lay so many eggs).
Joined forum after reading several online sites about the Indian Pea Puffer (pygmy/dwarf puffer) that mentioned this site. I was at my local fish store looking for chili rasboras for my wife's nano tank and they did not have any, so I was browsing for fish no larger than 1" and saw the puffers and on a whim, I purchased 6 (from what I have read) appear to be all females.
