Green Spotted Puffers 12 years and counting

Post by sgtmyers88 »

Hi all, haven't been on here (and most forums anymore) in a good bit beyond lurking, but I thought I'd share that my GSP's are still around. Its been 12 years with them in a 55G marine tank as I first got them in 2012 sold as freshwater puffers at Walmart. I converted that 55G tank to full marine with live rock within 8 months. They even co-existed with a couple blue and yellow damsels over the years along with a few hermit crabs. I'm honestly surprised they are still around with no signs of dying off considering the mortality rate of captive GSP's. They are still active with lots of personalty.

haha Of course! And yes I totally agree, I only go to specialty aquarium shops anymore. Even the local Petco and Petsmart are not that great.
