Hey everyone I'm new to marine puffers

Post by Bloat the porkie »

So I'm new to the saltwater and marine aquarium and I just got a porcupine puffer 2 months ago idk if I'm feeding him properly I just want to know when do you feed them and how much I feed him tel his belly bulges out and then he sits on a live rock in the corner. Am I feeding him to much or what I work 10 to 12 hours a day and only feed him at night around 6 to 7

You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

So I'm guessing I'm overfeeding him then?

If he looks uncomfortable, then yes. How large is he?

Are you guys with bloat experiencing egg clutches being laid????. Like monthly. I' think im facing ny 3rd time with her in 3 months. Didn't observe anything of note the 1st time accept bloat. Next day eggs. Her second clutch I was paying attention. Agitation. Food indifference. You get that dismissive eating. Then the bloat excessive swimming . The bloat appears like a partially inflated blow up in her hind half. That's about 24 hours and then the eggs. And I mean everywhere. Massive amounts. Anyone else have experience dealing with this?
