Amount of food and type

Post by Andrew&Sue »

Hi all
I have two puffer tanks; one 6 pea puffers in one, and 4 green spotted in another.

Pea puffer diet (frozen items are all defrosted first):
Bloodworm frozen cubes
Daphnia frozen cubes
Brine shrimp frozen cubes
Copepods live
Copepods frozen cubes

Green spotted diet:
Bloodworm frozen cubes (frozen items are all defrosted first):
Uncooked prawns with shell on
Uncooked mussels with shell on
Uncooked clams with shell on
Uncooked squid
Live river shrimp
Live ramshorns snails

Is there anything else I could consider to vary both green spotted and pea puffer diets?
Anything wrong with the above?

Big question is how much do I feed them as i am very careful not to overfeed but what is the right amount?

Thanks
Andy

Those are great diet choices! I suggest defrosting the frozen cubes in cool water & add a few drops of fish vitamins.
