I've started up my first tank a couple months ago, and am in love with it. It is heavily planted (photos attached), and i still plan to get a carpeting plant, and allow for the dwarf water lilly to grow out before getting the dwarf puffer/s,
My main question / concern is, I plan to get one or two dwarf puffers, and have them mainly eating what's in the tank. I recently have got bladder snails, pink ramshorns, and black Malaysian trumpet snails which will explode in population, will also get cherry shrimp, and have daphnia and Monia breeding in the tank before I get the puffer too.
Do you think this is a good idea, I'm fine with the idea of also feeding them, but I'm worried the puffer will wipe everything out, especially the snails out, because I love to watch the little guys. I'm hoping there are enough plants it won't accomplish this. Do you think it's feasible?
The tank is 60litres which is 15-16 us gallons I think.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
Many thanks, Paolo
