Hello all,
I'm originally from the East Coast. Born and raised a beach kid. I've now planted roots in Colorado and miss water more than I thought I would. I have a small indoor pond growing blue lotus (aka Egyptian water lilies), a 2.5 gallon tank with a mystery snail/two African dwarf frogs, and a 2G for some snails that I hope to feed to my future GSP.
I fell in love with puffers when I started doing reef surveys in Trinidad and Tobago. That love continued when I was a volunteer diver at NJ Adventure Aquarium. A puffer took kindly to me and would swim in my hair. The aquarium later inherited some white tipped sharks and they wreaked havoc eating barracuda, lots of fish and alas, my sweet puffer friend. I'm hoping that hole in my heart will be filled with my very own GSP. Looking forward to tips and advice here!

Poor, friendly puffer! I can't believe an aquarium wouldn't know any better!

You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Thank you for the info! I'm currently cycling my tank and calibrating my refractometer...
