F8 tank stocking

Post by Nofx »

Hiya,

So I have an eheim vivaline 150 (litres) aquarium and am waiting for my oase biomaster 600 to be delivered.
Once I get everything set up and cycled I'd like to get either one or several f8 puffers and possibly some bumblebee gobies.
I'm just somewhat hesitant as to how many of each as there's conflicting info out there so maybe someone with actual experience can help me out.
Dimension of the tank are 60x50x50 cm.
Thanks in advance.

Are you looking for advice on stocking the 150 or 600?

Sorry, should have been more clear. The tank is 150 litres (39 gallons). The (canister) filter is an oase biomaster 600 (1250 lph or 330 gph).

Think the 600 part stands for the canister being for tanks up to 600 litres, the usual manufacturer exaggeration haha. But the point is the tank will have plenty of filtration.

In a tank that size, you could keep 3 F8s. You could add a couple of knight gobies or if you can find them, Red chromides are pretty cool.

BBGs are hit or miss. Some have luck with them but I added 6 & only had 1 left.
