Fahaka Lethargic
Fahaka Lethargic
I've had my fahaka about 3 months and he's been doing great. He is about 2 inches long. Last night I cut a live crawfish in half and gave him the tail and the torso to feed on. This morning he continued eating on it and then I removed the remaining crawfish shell. I went to do a 25% water change and while siphoning water out he just sat down in the corner, he's now been there for about 6 hours and has barely moved. I checked water parameters and everything is where you'd expect to see it. Only difference is I used a liquid pH adjuster before adding the new water. pH is at 7.5, it was at 7.7 prior to water change. Could he be shocked from the change, or could he have just gorged himself on the crawfish and just be lazy now?

Probably so full he can't move!
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

He seems to be fine today! Think he just gorged himself!
