GSP not eating snails

Post by jdxlee »

Hello...i have a juvenile GSP about 1/2 - 1 inch in size, who i have been feeding frozen brine shrimp and frozen blood worms. i know they need snails or crabs 1-2x per week to wear down their teeth but my GSP is not eating nor interested in the ramshorn snails i put in the tank.

Any suggestions? are juvenile GSP ok not to eat snails until they get bigger?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also - i currently have 3 mollies with my GSP, who will be re-homed once i have my additional tank cycled.

thanks!

Try crushing the snails.
