Hey guys, I got my dwarf puffer a week ago from my LFS and I used general cure as a preventative against internal parasites. I followed the directions on the box, but now I have noticed that his belly is lumpy and uneven. I do not know if it is from him eating or if it is a worm. Should I treat him again or is he just skinny from being at the LFS? I have been feeding him about 3 blood worms a day and there are snails in the tank that he might eat as well.He has been very active and outgoing since the first day I got him.
Water Parameters: using API master test kit
ammonia: 0
nitrite: 0
nitrate: 5-10ppm
pH: 7.6
water temp: 79 F

Re: Dwarf Puffer Lumpy Belly
1st of all, FW fish do not drink water, so any meds you add to his tank will not get inside the fish. Those lumps are their food.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

General Cure is garbage. Try Prazipro. Personally, though, I doubt this puffer has IPs.
