Pao suvattii
Do pao suvatti change color? Going to buy one in a week or two. Tank is almost ready. Have dark tan sand and some rocks for now. Going to add in some live plants within the next couple days. Just curious if they change color at all to try and blend in?

Re: Pao suvattii
All puffers do to an extent. Some species more than others. More like pattern & hue, than color, with the suvattii though. The Congo (murius) changes color to match it's environment.

Darker the sand the darker the suvatti will stay. Mine was dark but washed out on the lighter sand
