Tetraodon Miurus + Cory's

Post by Bulletfishy »

Hey peeps,

I have a question regarding Cory's and their bony armoured outside.

I have moved my old fishbase to a fishshelter. But the problem I have is that the majority of the Cory's I have are simply too fast. They will hide in every nook and cranny I try to catch them at. And pulling out my entire aquarium which is pretty plant heavy is just impossible..it would ruin all the plants and start over again. I have had a few people try it too but they just outrace them. And trying every time is just so stressfull that they might die from that instead.

Now my question is, is the Congo Puffer able to digest the Cory's? I know this is far from ideal and I'd prefer not too but at this point im just giving up on catching them.

Consider them food reserves for your puffer, if you do not rescue them soon! He will certainly be able to eat chunks of their meat, as I have seen mine eat a pleco down to only a skull.

I'm a bit pessimistic about a fish with half it's gut ripped out and being left to die that way.

Theres no deco in it. Its sand with Lucense, Echinodorus and Valisneria.I took out the deco in it like spiderwood and a cave already. Thats why i didnt want to take all the plants out cause they have been rooting for months to get sturdy in the sand. But ill try it again.

Yay, I put my Corys up on the web and half an hour later someone is interested. So they are gonna get a new home and not inside a stomach.

^^ Yea I get the reactions =/ I was a bit upset that I might have had to leave them in there but its all good! I rearranged the tank too. Gonna make some pics when I get the piece of driftwood for in the middle and wait for Lurky (yea I thought that was a very cool name xD).
