New to the Site here.

I've had a Fahaka for the last year and a half! Thought I should make an account here.

Hi! I’m also from Minneapolis!! I would have recommended Aquatropics but the owner retired! However I bet the guys from Aqualand Aquarium Center would have snails for you - they tend to have just about everything and are incredibly knowledgeable too. You could call them and ask :) What kind of puff do you have? I have a Red/Orange Congo - he’s such a derp!

Oh my goodness I just saw the photos of "Jack the potato puffer" - SO unusual and cute! did not know this type of puffer existed! :D I am not from MN but I do have a ten inch Fahaka, Ollie, LOVE him (or her) and yes, I am also always hunting for and trying to mega-breed snails. Expensive to purchase enough for these guys!
Ollie- Fahaka puffer. I am wrapped around his fin!

I LOVE FAHAKAS!! If we had the space we would totally have one!!!! Snails are a pain in the butt! I’ve heard people having good luck setting up mystery snail breeding tanks - they lay eggs quite readily and can get nice and big to eat! Do you have pictures of Ollie? Jack is a big weirdo so I had to share his shenanigans with the world 😂😂😂

I am so excited I couldn’t help but share...after seeing Jack, he always made me want a Miurus. Well we finally have one! After an unfortunate situation that didn’t work out, I was left really wanting a potatoe in a white color morph! Fate swung in and someone reached out to me with a rehome, in my city... and He’s even white-ish/beige coloration! We haven’t named him yet, but I hope he has 1/2 the personality of Congo Jack!
