Hey neat i get to be the first one to post in this division! Anyway, does anybody know about the growth rate of baby mangrove seedlings? How fast do they grow?
Mangroves are extremely slow growing, at 1" per year. The also need alot of lighting and don't do well without high light and sufficient humidity. Really they're best in a specialized setup or they do poorly. They're also poor at nutrient absorbtion. You need 1 per 5 gallons to really get the job done.
Try the toptropicals link above. I live outside the US, so it would have cost a lot to ship across the border. I got mine from a guy who ordered a bunch locally.
