One of my silly turgidus parents puffed XD

They do this like once or twice a week lol one will swim towards the other who then puffs and acts all grumpy!

Then it'll deflate and get all sulky

I had a turgidus who would float around near the filter intake. He would wait until it had almost sucked him up against it, then he would puff swim around in circles, deflate and repeat a few times, then just swim away, same time every morning.

When my hairy puffer gets inflated it does not look like a symmetrical ball. The majority of it seems in the belly area, just like the photo of the turgidus.

Yeah it seems like freshwater puffs inflate just under their body but marine puffs form a ball

If freshwater puffers fully puff they resemble a ball too, at least my fahaka did. Probably a little semi puff
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly
