acrylic tank issues ?

Post by chuckfriedrice »

Ive noticed a crack on the inside of my tank , So I marked it and Ive noticed its getting longer . It is not all the way thru the glass just on the inside portion ! The tank is atleast 1/2" thick , but Just with the crack growing . Is it time to get a new tank or is it fixable?

It is not fixable, unless it's in the seam. A burst waiting to happen. the pressure of water against the glass is a great one.

Are you sure that's a crack & not a scratch?
